K4C is an International partnered training consortium, built on partnerships between HEIs & CSOs for co-creation of knowledge. It aims to build research capacity to address local challenges, in line with UN SDGs. K4C is structured on a 21-week Mentor Training Program (MTP), designed and delivered by the UNESCO Chair. A total of six countries will be participating in the MTP beginning from mid-January’ 2018, namely, Canada, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Italy & South Africa.
As part of the pre-preparation of K4C, the Indian leg of the UNESCO Chair will be hosting a planning meeting of all the hub coordinators from the five countries from November 11- 13, 2017 at PRIA, New Delhi. The meeting will finalize all details of MTP, including mentors, field supervisors, learning materials & in-country follow up courses for delivery of community-based participatory research after MTP.
