Dr. Rajesh Tandon spoke at the Inaugural Session of the Training Program organised by Vishwa Yuvak Kendra (VYK) on 22 November 2022 for Module 1: NGO Governance and Due Diligence (scheduled from 22-26 Nov 2022).
Vishwa Yuvak Kendra (VYK) is one of the pioneering NGOs in India established in 1961 and actively involved in empowering the youth of our country. To achieve its main objective, the Trust conducts educational and training programmes, seminars, and workshops on relevant social issues like education, health, entrepreneurship development, etc., so as to enable youth workers working at the grassroots level in the poorest and backward regions of the country to discharge their functions more effectively and efficiently.
As a part of VYK’s endeavors aimed at the capacity enhancement of CSO professionals, they brought a very comprehensive learning package in the form of Project Sashakt. The project is being supported by the Bosch India Foundation, the development wing of Bosch India. This project aims to provide all the important aspects required to establish, operationalize and grow to make an efficient, credible, transparent, and fast-growing civil society organization, and is being implemented through three residential modules:
Module 1: NGO Governance and Due Diligence (22-26 Nov 2022)
Module 2– Resource Mobilization and Documentation (19-23 Dec 2022)
Module 3– Skill Employability and Reporting (6-9 Feb 2023)
