On Wednesday, the October 18th from noon – 13:00 hrs, Dr Rajesh Tandon will deliver a lecture on ‘Community-University Research Partnerships for SDGs’, at the IDRC, Ottawa office in Canada. The UNESCO Chair in Community Based Research & Social Responsibility in Higher Education is soon launching an international consortium on Knowledge for Change (K4C). IDRC supported an initial phase of this UNESCO Co-Chair. K4C intends to support locally relevant research partnerships to generate knowledge in respect of contextually prioritised SDGs at several sites in India, Indonesia, South Africa, Uganda, Brazil, Colombia, Sardinia and Canada. K4C will explore new ways for academia and civil society to co-create knowledge and will more effectively contribute towards advancing SDGs in different contexts. This goal resonates well with the IDRC’s ongoing CCIC-CASID project.
