The UNESCO Chair came into existence in late 2012, and since the last four years has been striving towards realizing social responsibility in higher education through research, knowledge production and mobilization, policy advocacy and training and capacity enhancement. The last four years has been an incredible journey of covering new horizons in the field of knowledge democracy by networking with universities, research institutions, funding agencies, regional and regional and global networks. Here’s presenting a snap shot of the grounds we have covered, what we have achieved till date and some statistics which illustrate our efforts in the past few years.
