Dr. Rajesh Tandon (Founder-President, PRIA & Co-chair, UNESCO Chair in Community-Based Research & Social Responsibility in Higher Education) participated in DVV International’s Video Podcast initiative, “Adult Learning and Education in the Times of COVID-19”.
In this episode of the podcast, he addressed the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in India. Elaborating on the challenges faced by the citizens of the country, Dr. Tandon shared putting to practice the instructions of physical distancing and staying at home was difficult for many. He further discussed how some of the messages which seem simplistic do not fit into the people’s reality, thus there is a need for effective communication channels and solutions which fit the local context.
