Knowledge for Change (K4C) witnessed a grand launch in Ottawa, Canada on December 14, 2017

The Canadian Commission for UNESCO and the University of Victoria hosted the Canadian launch of the Chair’s forthcoming initiative, Knowledge for Change (K4C) at the Canada Council for the Arts, Ottawa on December 14, 2017. The discussions were focused on the relevance of the K4C initiative and the importance of Community Based Research in addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Joining in the conversations were the Secretary General of the Canadian Commission of UNESCO, Sebastian Goupil; UNESCO Co-Chairs, Dr Budd Hall & Dr Rajesh Tandon, Vice-President, Research at the University of Victoria, Dr David Castle, among other senior academics and civil society leaders.
