The UNESCO Chair in Community-Based Research and Social Responsibility in Higher Education is organising a webinar, "Decolonized, Community-Led Co-Construction of Knowledge Towards Climate Resilience," on April 3, 2025 (Thursday), from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM (IST). This session, part of the DECODE Project, will explore how diverse knowledge systems shape climate action. Hear insights from the Indian case study, "Food from Forest – Bridging Tradition, Science, and Sustainability in the Himalayas," where community leaders and researchers will share how collaborative knowledge can address the climate crisis.
Funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and led by the UNESCO Chair, the DECODE Project builds on the Knowledge Democracy studies pioneered by Dr. Rajesh Tandon and Prof. Budd Hall.
